Bianchi Public Relations Promotes Killenberg to Vice President

TROY, Mich., July 30, 2007 – Jessica A. Killenberg, APR, has been promoted to vice president at Bianchi Public Relations, Inc., according to company president, James A. Bianchi.

This promotion, Bianchi said, comes in recognition of Killenberg’s successful leadership efforts for several of the firm’s key accounts, as well as her work in mentoring staff and new business development.

She has been with the full-service PR firm for 11 years. Prior to being named to her new position, she served as an account director and senior account supervisor. Killenberg was promoted to account supervisor in 2000, senior account executive in 1998 and account executive in 1997. She joined Bianchi PR as an account coordinator in 1996, after having served as an intern with the firm.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a master’s degree in public relations and organizational communications from Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit. Accredited in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America, Killenberg has been actively involved in the organization’s Detroit chapter and is currently serving on its board. She is also a member of the Automotive Press Association, Business Networking International and a founding member of WSU’s Public Relations Advisory Board.

In addition, she has served as an adjunct professor at WSU and was a contributing writer to the university textbook, PR: The Right Stuff.
